Several CTAHR students participated in the recent UH Manoa Undergraduate Showcase, an academic conference that highlights undergraduate research and creative work.
- Courtnie A. Yokono (MBB), whose mentor is Qing Li, presented on “Optimal Concentration of TPPU to Decrease Neuroinflammation in Alzheimer’s Disease.”
- Megan Gonsalves (NREM) and Elizabeth Loschert (NREM), whose mentor is Jonathan Deenik, presented on “Developing Scoring Functions to Interpret Hawai'i Soil Health Indicators.”
- Lauryn Liao (BE) was a student author panelist for the undergraduate journal Manoa Horizons with her paper “A Sweet State of Mind: The Effects of High Fructose Corn Syrup on the Brain.”
