Members of the CTAHR ‘ohana are invited to participate in a Sustainability Fair sponsored by Kapolei Shopping Center on Saturday, June 29, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This is a free event targeting communities from Ewa Beach to Wai‘anae. There’s no cost to participating organizations.
Kapolei Shopping Center is partnering with Ulupono Initiative, HECO and Blue Planet Foundation, who will sponsor an electric vehicle exhibit and test-driving at the event. The other half of the event will give organizations an opportunity to showcase their programs and services to the West O‘ahu community. This is a family-friendly event, so participants are encouraged not only to share information/displays about their programs but also to offer some sort of sustainability-related game or interactive display that kids and families can enjoy.
There will be a week-long radio advertising campaign running on Hawaiian105KINE, KRATER, and several other Summit stations. There will also be print advertising and on-site posters/flyers/banners and a social media campaign to promote the event. The event will be outdoors in the parking lot. The shopping center will provide space for you to have a small tent, tables, etc.
You can contact Mele Pochereva at mele@melepr.com to sign up for a booth, and please also let OCS at ocs@ctahr.hawaii.edu if you’ll be participating.
