Over 133 students participated in poster and oral presentations at CTAHR’s 29th Annual Student Research Symposium. The halls of Agriculture Science buzzed as nearly 300 students, faculty, staff, and guests engaged in a lively, scholarly exchange. A short two weeks later, we hosted our first ever 3-Minute Elevator Pitch Competition. Competitors proudly represented their mentors and departments and faced the 180-second challenge head on. With over 100 colleagues, friends, and family in the audience cheering, the energy from the standing room only crowd was electrifying! Altogether, CTAHR is providing up to $21,500 in cash prizes and travel stipends to awardees of SRS and 3MEP. Thank you to Gamma Sigma Delta and USDA NIFA for their award contributions.
