This Summer, we welcomed a new member to our team, Jessie Radovich.  

Jessie joins us as an educational specialist, working to promote connections between CTAHR Alumni and students. Her goal is to foster and facilitate collegial, social and professional connections between CTAHR's new / current students and alumni, friends and supporters by sharing experiences and insights, providing support, maintaining friendships and offering career development opportunities. 

Jessie hit the ground running and in July helped to organize an Alumni Backyard BBQ with Dean Comerford on Kauai at the Kauai Research and Extension Station.

Participants had a great time re-connecting with the college, speaking with the Dean about his vision for the future and enjoying an ono selection of local CTAHR connected barbecue fare. The menu was created by our own Food Sciences faculty, Chef Lara Hackney who helped to prep and cook along with some of our amazing CTAHR students and friends.

The Dean plans to host BBQ’s on each island once a year, so we are looking forward to making connections at the Oahu event coming up in November!
