Sustainable CTAHR at the Sustainability Showcase

CTAHR participated in the Sustainability Showcase at Honolulu Community College’s annual Ho‘olaule‘a on Wednesday, April 11. The purpose of this showcase was to promote environmental awareness and responsibility, share sustainable practices, introduce “green” technologies and career opportunities, and bring the campus and community together to showcase their contributions toward a sustainable future. The ASAO came prepared to share some of CTAHR’s contributions toward a sustainable future! Armed with CTAHR Focus cards and Undergraduate Program cards, ASAO graduate assistant Kauahi Perez returned to her alma mater to promote CTAHR and its sustainability activities at this event. Over 100 students, counselors, parents, and grandparents stopped by the CTAHR booth to inquire about the different programs and sustainability projects going on at CTAHR. Many of the students were interested in the majors that CTAHR had to offer, especially in the TAE and NREM programs, but also FDM, ANSC, FSHN, HDFS, MBB, and BE! Congratulations go to CTAHR for the many great sustainability projects that the college is involved with!
