The ASAO recently hosted its second CTAHR Student–Faculty luncheon, where freshmen and transfer students had the opportunity to meet and chat with faculty and the dean and associate deans. It started off with a speed networking session, in which the faculty and leadership spent five minutes introducing themselves to small groups of students.

Pre-vet students joined Professors Birendra Mishra and Halina Zaleski for a hands-on training in a workshop on artificial insemination.

If you’re a graduating student, or just want to support them, make sure to come to the CTAHR Convocation on May 2, at Kennedy Theatre! Check-in begins at 5:45, and the program goes from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. RSVP by Wednesday, April 18.

UH Manoa’s Hamilton Library Bridge Gallery hosts #floralfridays, an exhibition of products created by students in the floriculture arts class. The exhibition continues through April 13, with one component changing every week.

Undergraduate students interested in Native Hawaiian cultural practices in agriculture, land management, and sustainability may be interested in the opportunity for one-year fellowships in ahupua‘a management.
