Ka Hana Poʻokela – Graduate Student

ʻAlohi clearly embodies the spirit of the Ka Hana Poʻokela Dean’s Award for Excellence by contributing to the Dept. of Natural Resources and Environmental Management, CTAHR, UH, and the greater community. 

As president and vice president of NREM’s Graduate Student Organization and chair/co-founder of NREM’s DEI group, ʻAlohi has worked to better the department and circumstances for other NREM students. She has also has extended that reach to include students of the college more generally. CTAHR students for years to come will benefit from ʻAlohi's commitment to service and Native Hawaiian cultural values.
