CTAHR and Hainan University have entered into an MOU establishing the Joint Laboratory of Food, Nutrition and Health, which will be housed at the Hainan University campus. CTAHR faculty will work as visiting researchers there, and Hainan University students and graduates will be recruited for UH programs.

We are saddened to report the death of former Ka Le Hano Heritage award winner and legendary rancher Herbert “Monty” Montague Richards, Jr., at 88 from complications from a stroke. Monty was known for his love of the land, generosity to his community, and many innovations in ranching.
