Congratulations to CTAHR’s new students as they complete their first year! New students face many challenges in their first year in college, trying to find a niche and make UH feel like a home away from home. In an effort to support the college’s freshman and to encourage them to get involved, the Academic and Student Affairs Office has held an event nearly every month this academic year for them. As an added incentive, students who attended the spring events were entered into an amazing raffle! Here are the winners of the Freshman Raffle: The five winners of $100 bookstore gift cards are Lian Huang (BE), Brooke Kawamura (MBB), Korynn Grenert (NREM), Anne Mo (FDM), and Marissa Nash (FDM). The two winners of places in the next CTAHR Meaningful Experience, tentatively set for Kaua‘i and Ni‘ihau, are Korynn Grenert (NREM) and Aaron Kam (MBB). The best of luck, restful nights, and phenomenal scores to all students, new and continuing, during finals week!
