HNFAS grad student honored by poultry group

Leadership and Excellence

Pravin Mishra, a graduate student in the Dept. of Human Nutrition, Food and Animal Sciences, has been elected Junior Student Director for the Poultry Science Association. This significant achievement was announced following a competitive election, where Pravin shined, showcasing his commitment to fulfilling the organization’s objective of providing educational, social, and academic/industrial support to all student members.

Adding to this honor, Pravin also received the PSA Hatchery’s Student of the Year 2024 Award. This prestigious accolade recognizes his outstanding academic performance, research contributions, and service to the community, setting him apart as a leading figure among his peers. Moreover, his exemplary service as the Chair of the Project Innovation Committee was also celebrated. In this role, he led various innovative projects, fostering collaboration and driving advancements within the association.

These honors reflect our CTAHR graduate student Pravin’s unwavering dedication, hard work, and passion for poultry science, marking a bright future in both the academic and professional realms.
