For almost three decades, the Halawa Xeriscape Garden has upheld a holiday tradition of teaching the community how to turn water-conserving plants into eye-catching and colorful holiday wreaths – and no pandemic is going to stop the magic.

So pour yourself a mug of hot chocolate and settle down for this entertaining, exquisite and environmentally-conscious wreath-making workshop.

“In this video, viewers learn how to craft an eye-catching and colorful holiday wreath using plants that conserve water in outdoor garden areas,” says Steven Norstrom of the Honolulu Board of Water Supply. “It’s been a holiday tradition at our Halawa Xeriscape Garden for almost 30 years. Thank you for joining us.”
