Big Island Extension and Research Stations Go to Remote Assistance

In light of the COVID-19 epidemic, the Hawai‘i Island Cooperative Extension offices and research stations will be closed to the public, except for employees and current students, in the same way that the 10 UH campuses are.

Stakeholders may continue to work with their Extension agents through email and telephone, and they can continue to access information via the CTAHR website, which will continue to be updated. Publications are accessible here.

Telephone numbers:

  • Hilo – Komohana Research and Extension Center – (808) 981-5199
  • Kamuela – Kamuela Extension Office – (808) 887-6183
  • Kona – Kona Extension Office – (808) 322-4892

This is a rapidly changing situation, and updates will be sent as needed.
