Aurora Saulo (TPSS) was invited by Food Quality & Safety Magazine to write a six-issue-a-year column titled “Global Interests.” The digital copy of her second article “Food Branding Matters: Consumers Care Who Makes Their Food and Where” has just been released. This is a timely discussion of the use of geographical indications on product labels, including the word “Hawaii.” She makes recommendations on how to keep labels truthful and not misleading.
