Student Stoles

Cap and gown? Check. Tassel and $$$ lei? Check. Handwoven stole? Only if you’re a CTAHR student!

Since 2018, the Stole Society Club has lovingly crafted graduation stoles for their fellow CTAHR students, who get to proudly display the eye-catching embroidered vestments over their gowns and – of course – keep as a souvenir after the convocation ceremonies conclude.

Want to join them? The workshops are casual and fun, and START TODAY at 2:30!

“We focus on using donated fabrics from local people and the community to foster sustainable production in the Fashion Design and Merchandising community,” says Minako McCarthy of the Dept. of Family and Consumer Sciences. “Our objectives are to produce activities and more scholarship opportunities for FDM students on our own.”
