SIPO stands for Student Internship & Professional Opportunities.

Our first CareerLaunch seminar of the Spring 2021 semester brought Dr. Christian Giardina, a Research Ecologist working for the United States Forest Service (USFS) at the Pacific Southwest Research Station in Hilo. 

The on-going pandemic has not stopped our CTAHR Alumni Association and Friends from continuing efforts to support each other and students.

In an effort to provide much needed relaxation time to CTAHR students, CTAHR Student Ambassadors held our first ever Paint With Us event on Thursday, January 21st.

To help celebrate our Fall 2020 Convocation, CTAHR Alumni Association and Friends held a lei making class via Zoom on December 12th.

Alumna Samantha Alvarado walked us step by step through the process of making a Maile style ti leaf lei.  In the hour long presentation, participants learned how to start and end the lei along with proper twisting / braiding techniques, remember, always twist to the left and braid to the right!
