Applications are now being accepted for the L. Stephen Lau Water Research Endowed Scholarship of $1,500, which will be awarded in Fall 2018.

CTAHR will be hosting the 30th Annual Student Research Symposium on April 6–7 in the Ag Sci building. Open to all graduate and undergraduate students conducting scholarly work under the supervision of faculty in CTAHR and the UHM College of Engineering, the Symposium serves as a multi-disciplinary forum for the discussion and exchange of scholarly information.

There will be an open house showcasing observations of a colorful carrot variety trial conducted at the Poamoho Research Station on Wednesday, February 28, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Natural Resources and Environmental Management grad student Blaire Langston is holding a workshop on Saturday, February 17, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in St. John 106 on how to participate in the ‘Ulu Phenology Project.

The latest installment in the TPSS departmental seminar series will be offered on Friday, February 9, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. in St John 011: Kent Kobayashi's “Teaching on the Edge of Forever.”
