Former CHL trainee and now Guam EFNEP coordinator Tanisha Franquez Aflague was recently featured in Fresh From the Field, NIFA’s newsletter highlighting success stories of its grantees, about her work with the Children’s Healthy Living (CHL) Project. 

UH Manoa’s Hamilton Library Bridge Gallery hosts #floralfridays, an exhibition of products created by students in the floriculture arts class. The exhibition continues through April 13, with one component changing every week.

Support the “Popcorn Express” Fundraiser by picking up some bags of sweet-and-salty kettle corn, now in pastel colors for Easter—all proceeds will benefit the Hawaii Food Drive. Just return the order form to the CTAHR Dean’s Office in Gilmore 202 by Monday, March 19.

A Taro Field Day will be held at the Waimanalo Research Station on Saturday, March 17, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

If you haven’t yet signed up for the CTAHR Blood Drive, now’s the time to do it! It’s in the Campus Center Ballroom, 3rd floor, on March 20, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with appointments starting every 15 minutes.
