Here’s an important announcement from the UH Disbursing Office: effective March 30, the University must have your current mailing address on record, because if you are not signed up for direct deposit for your payroll or e-payments for reimbursements, any hard-copy checks (reimbursements, paychecks, etc.) will be mailed directly to the employee’s address on record. All physical checks will be processed and mailed ONLY on Mondays and Thursdays.
CTAHR’s Cooperative Extension Offices and Research Stations across the state remain open—virtually. All sites are closed to the public, but you may continue your work with Extension agents contacting them via email or phone. Established CTAHR volunteers are permitted to continue their ongoing efforts at Extension facilities by working individually and practicing social distancing along CDC guidelines.

The study has received a five-year, $825,000 award CAREER award from the National Science Foundation.
Interim Associate Dean for Academic and Student Affairs Ania Wieczorek sent a message of hope and reassurance to CTAHR students on March 22, giving them much-needed information and encouragement.
This is a friendly reminder to review any events you may have submitted to the CTAHR or UH Events Calendar and make sure they’re up to date: if they’re cancelled, postponed, or offered in an alternate format, make sure to make that clear!
If you require information in an alternative format, please contact us at: FCS-ADA@ctahr.hawaii.edu
