Growing up in Northern Virginia, Monica Esquivel didn't have many opportunities to enjoy Filipino food. So her mom made it a point to have Filipino food at their holiday celebrations every year. "Since we didn't have Filipino food very often, it became something of a tradition to look forward to – and a way to feel connected to our family in the Philippines.”
What do you get the CTAHR alum who has everything?
How about a cool new T-shirt? Proceeds from sales of the shirts will go to the CTAHR Alumni Association & Friends to help support CTAHR students and programs.
Christmas will be here in three weeks! So get your American Apparel USA-Made Tri-Blend Track T-shirt today!
As CTSA executive director Cheng-Sheng Lee wraps up his semi-annual project updates with PIs, reviewers, committee members, and volunteers, it’s also a time to reflect on a very unusual year and be thankful for what we have, and got done – especially the successful leveraging of CTSA funding.
Exquisite, delicate and full of positive vibrations! You can still get some really pretty plants for your holiday dining table – and support our budding scientists (graduate students) – at the Dept. of Plant and Environmental Protection Sciences’ Christmas Plant Sale.
