Sustaining Ag Education

Ted Radovich (TPSS, pictured) was one of the presenters, along with Rachel Novotny and Marie Fialkowski Revilla (both HNFAS), at the Symposium on Re-envisioning and Regenerating Agriculture Education through P-20 Partnerships sponsored by the P20 Agriculture Education Workgroup. The Symposium was part of the National Sustainable Agriculture Education Conference held at UH West O‘ahu, which focused on the themes of indigenous knowledge, decolonization, and socio-ecological resiliency in agroecology and sustainable food systems education. Through presentations, workshops, field trips, and hands-on activities, the participants shared their theory, practices, and vision for integrating these topics into university-level and adult education about food, agriculture, sustainability, and justice.
