It ain’t easy to reopen in the midst of the pandemic, not even for a diagnostic laboratory.
After months of major HVAC construction work, the Agricultural Diagnostic Service Center (ADSC) is ready to resume conducting its much-needed analytical and diagnostic services for the people and businesses of Hawai‘i.
Prior to re-opening, ADSC also adopted significant procedural changes in its laboratory operations and sample submission locations due to COVID. But as of today, the ADSC is finally open for business!
All of the analyses listed by ADSC are currently available. Please keep in mind that, as COVID evolves, so might ADSC accessibility. You can check the most current status of operations and sample drop-off locations, or click the ADSC button on the CTAHR homepage.
Please note: The ADSC will only accept samples from locations listed on this notification. Also, it is a State of Hawaiʻi violation to ship samples directly to the ADSC, since soil samples are subject to the State of Hawaiʻi Department of Agriculture interisland inspection program and must be shipped under an ADSC permit from one of the drop-off locations.
“We thank our many clients across the state for their patience and understanding, and we look forward to serving you again,” says ADSC Director Darren Park. “Mahalo and stay safe out there!”
