Food and Innovation for the Future

Online registration is now open for “Future Focus: The Hawai‘i Innovation Initiative’s Forum on Sustainable Agriculture, Food Security, Cybersecurity & More,” which is happening October 10–11 at the Hawai‘i Convention Center. This two-day conference will not only focus on important topics in agriculture, food security, and cybersecurity but will also cover related areas of venture capital, federal resources, tech transfer, and entrepreneurship, including social impact funding and examples of successful local food and agricultural startups. The speakers and panelists include representatives from UH, the US Department of Agriculture, FBI, NSA, Hewlett-Packard, Joint BioEnergy Institute, Hawai‘i Pacific University, Hawai‘i State Legislature, Ulupono Initiative, Kamehameha Schools, and more, not to mention former CTAHR Outstanding Alumnus Derek Kurisu.
