Join the Urban Garden Center’s June Second Saturday event for hands-on pollinator-promoting activities and pollinator-themed plant sales and learn about Hawai‘i's endemic yellow-faced bees, Kamehameha butterflies and more. Urban Garden Center is located at 955 Kamehameha Highway in Pearl City.

UH Manoa’s Hamilton Library Bridge Gallery hosts #floralfridays, an exhibition of products created by students in the floriculture arts class. The exhibition continues through April 13, with one component changing every week.

Horticulture science alumna Nellie Sugii will talk about her work curating, storing, and propagating rare and endangered native plants and significant Hawaiian crops as Lyon Arboretum Hawaiian Rare Plant Program manager at the October Honolulu Science Cafe.
