Brent Sipes (Plant and Environmental Protection Sciences) was chosen as a Fellow of the Society of Nematologists during the Society’s annual meeting July 22–25 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This designation recognizes his excellence in research and Extension and his tremendous service contributions to the society. It is an honor that may be bestowed upon no more than 0.4% of the membership in any given year. The Society of Nematologists is an international organization formed to advance the science of nematology in both its fundamental and economic aspects. It acts as an agency for the exchange of information, holds regular meetings, and promotes and extends knowledge in all phases of nematology.
