Supporting Urban Garden Center
Our gardens at the Urban Garden Center (UGC) have been a special place for learning, exploration, peace and collaboration since it opened in 1988.
Our passion and aloha to provide innovative and diverse science-based information to the public remains a constant.
Our educational programs at UGC would not be possible without the hard work by faculty, staff, students, volunteers and generous donations.
Your donation will be used to advance educational programming and services at the Urban Garden Center.
UGC also proudly works to minimize food waste and advance access to nutritious food produced locally.
New garden areas are being installed to ensure food is available to those in need. New fruit orchards and edible crop raised beds are being installed around the facility which goes to support organizations such as the Hawaiʻi Food Bank, The Pantry and Aloha Harvest.
Donations made through the University of Hawaiʻi Foundation are tax deductible and go to support programming at the garden. If you would like to support the Urban Garden Center, please click here.
