CTSA, the Center for Tropical and Subtropical Aquaculture, recently took part in a public event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Natural Energy Laboratory of Hawai‘i Authority (NELHA),
CTAHR faculty and staff from all four counties gathered at the Mānoa campus on Oct. 11, 2024, to brainstorm strategies for increasing the productivity, sustainability, and community focus of agriculture and economic development in Hawaiʻi.
Dozens of CTAHR faculty, students, and alumni attended the 2024 annual conference of the American Society for Horticultural Science (ASHS), held at Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki, Sept. 23–27.
From GoFarm graduates and Extension Agents to students presenting posters and alumni staffing sponsor booths in the Exhibit Hall, the College was well represented at the 2024 Hawaiʻi Agriculture Conference.
Developed by CTAHR Cooperative Extension, the educational program for the Landscape Industry Council of Hawaiʻi (LICH) 2024 Green Industry Conference delivered more than 20 presenters, 16 sessions, 17 indoor and outdoor exhibitors, and over 170 attendees.
