The annual rankings are out from Fashion-Schools.org, and FDM continues to rise! In fashion design, it’s now in the top 20% of schools nationally, up from the top 25% last year, and in fashion merchandising, it’s also in the top 20%, up from the top 30% last year.

UH Animal Science researchers are part of a transgenic study that successfully altered pigs to produce microbial enzymes in their saliva that could make swine digestion more efficient and reduce environmental impacts of swine operations.

Brent Sipes was named a Fellow of the Society of Nematologists for excellence in research and Extension and service to the society—an elite honor bestowed upon less than 1 percent of members in any given year.
