Vegetables grow year-round in Hawai‘i, but sunshine and good weather aren’t enough to guarantee success. What happens under the ground, where the roots are developing, is critical to the success of your garden. In this article, we’ll cover how to “feed your food” with the right growing mediums, nutrients, and hydration.
Interested in marine or terrestrial wildlife, animal conservation, zoology, or biocontrol? Three online summer courses will teach students how to help and regulate creatures great and small, on land and in the water!
The CDC recommends that people wear a cloth mask when they’re out and about to avoid shedding the virus if they’re infected but don’t know it. Although COVID-19 has put the physical collections of Hamilton Library out of reach, the institution continues to add ways to support access to its materials. One resource is the HathiTrust Digital Library, which holds digital copies of almost half of Hamilton’s physical collection. Digital copies of these works are now available online to UH students, faculty, and staff.
