The beginning-farmer training program GoFarm Hawai‘i held its first Alumni Conference on February 17, where over 100 participants from O‘ahu, Kaua‘i, Maui, and Hawai‘i Island came together to network and learn.

We are very saddened to report that CTAHR’s 2017 Outstanding Alumnus, Dr. Ernest Harris, has passed away. Dr. Harris was internationally recognized for his innovative and effective methods for controlling tephritid fruit flies.
