FIND OUT ABOUT THE PHYTOBIOME

The 2018 Plant Sciences Symposium Organizing Committee announces the first annual Plant Sciences Symposium! It will be held on Friday, March 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the UH Innovation Lab (iLab). The topic of this year’s symposium is “Phytobiomes for Sustainable Agriculture.” Participants will be able to listen to talks about the phytobiome—plants, the environment, and their associated microbial communities—from leaders in this field, present their research at the poster session, and meet colleagues at the free lunch provided. One speaker will be Nhu Nguyen (TPSS, pictured), who researches the interactions of diverse organisms from the molecular to the ecosystem level. Click here to register and see the speaker list.
