The undergraduate Sustainability Certificate program is nearing approval! CTAHR faculty interested in sustainability issues are invited to a meeting on April 6 in Sherman 103, from 10 to 11 a.m., to identify areas in which to focus efforts to grow sustainability-relevant research, education, and Extension in the college.
Congratulations to Emily Teng (TPSS), winner of this year’s Ka Hana Po‘okela award for student service, and Jenee Odani (HNFAS), recipient of the Ka Pouhana mentor award! Come cheer Emily, Jenee, and the other illustrious CTAHR awardees at this year’s Awards Banquet on May 4!
PhD student Priscilla Seabourn was awarded a $1,000 scholarship to attend a special summer Biology of Vector-borne Diseases course in Idaho. She studies the microbiome of mosquitoes in Hawai‘i.
