On March 16, CTAHR’s Magoon Research Station was the site of a special event: the Cherry Blossom Sakura Planting Ceremony. Japan Airlines, the Hawaii Sakura Foundation, and the Hawaii Japanese Junior Chamber of Commerce donated three new Sakura trees to UH Mānoa. This ceremony celebrated 70 years of Japan Airlines’ support for the Chamber’s Cherry Blossom Festival. It also highlighted the airline's dedication to helping the community and caring for the environment.
