Alumna Taylor Rose Mendiola, who graduated from FDM in 2017, made it into the June 2018 issue of Vanity Fair UK for her swimwear line Rose Swim. The collection, which is designed in O‘ahu, has “dainty and fun pieces made from high-quality materials,” says the article, “designed to be both functional and feminine whilst making you feel confident.” The vision is inspired by florals and earth tones, and most importantly, it flatters real women’s body types!
