Thao Le, Family and Consumer Sciences, spearheaded the creation of the Pause Space, a place for UH community members to practice mindfulness meditation. This powerful practice can help anyone and has growing scientific support.
The Pause Space, located on the UH Manoa campus at Kuykendall Annex 6, is where you can go to press “pause” and step out of the busyness of life.
Facilitators are present to offer optional instruction in mindfulness meditation—come learn a practice that will help you reduce stress and improve focus, or just relax on your own, for a minute or 30.
Hours are:
Monday – 8 a.m. to noon
Tuesday – 9 to 11 a.m.
Wednesday – noon to 2 p.m.
Thursday – 9 to 11 a.m.
Friday – 8 a.m. to noon
