Over 250 attendees visited the Earth Day Fair organized by the CTAHR Student Ambassadors and the Office of Sustainability. Attendees had the opportunity to visit 26 organizations and participate in activities such as plant and food security trivia, creating beeswax wraps, planting succulents, and sampling cricket chocolate "chirp" cookies. Mahalo to CTAHR participants!

Friday, April 28 - April Cooking Show. Join FSHN Instructor Lara Hackney as we explore Thai cuisine with Pad See Ew, Thai Basil Eggplant, and Mango Sticky Rice. All free student kits have been reserved, but registration is still open if you'd like to join us on Zoom and receive the recipes!

After a three-year hiatus, CTAHR Student Showcase and Research Symposium was held on UH Mānoa campus March 27, 2023. Over 70 undergraduate and graduate students from all CTAHR departments presented their research to an audience of fellow students, faculty, alumni, and community members. Mānoa Experience was back again on Saturday, April 1st, 2023 and it was no April fools! For those unfamiliar, Mānoa Experience, also known as the University Preview Day, is an open house type of event that is free to the public! It welcomes both prospective students, and now graduate students, as well as their families and the community to come and learn more about the programs and resources available at the University. It’s also a chance for many new students that have already been accepted for the Fall 2023 semester to step foot on campus and get to know current students and faculty of the programs that they have already set their sights on or are interested in.

Our Academic Student Affairs Office (ASAO) is delighted to announce our Spring 2023 CTAHR Convocation! We will be celebrating our graduates, along with their ʻohana, faculty, and staff, at Kennedy Theater on May 6, 2023, at 10:00 am HST.

What makes the CTAHR Convocation a special and unique experience for all?! This is an intimate, college-specific celebration where we have the opportunity to dedicate more time to recognizing our CTAHR grads. This is also a wonderful chance for faculty to personally attend and congratulate their students on their amazing accomplishments!
