CTAHR Showcase & Research Symposium: The winners are...
After a three-year hiatus, CTAHR Student Showcase and Research Symposium was held on UH Mānoa campus March 27, 2023. Over 70 undergraduate and graduate students from all CTAHR departments presented their research to an audience of fellow students, faculty, alumni, and community members. Congratulations to our Best Oral Presentation Winners! All Best Award winners received a certificate, a commemorative Yeti cup, and a $600 cash award.
- Riana Kaya, an Undergraduate student majoring in Animal Science. Riana is mentored by Dr. Thao Le.
- Kapono Gaughen, a Masters student studying Environmental Management. Kapono is advised by Dr. Creighton Litton, Dr. Travis Idol, and Dr. Mahealani Kaneshiro.
- Michelle Au, a PhD student studying Entomology. Michelle is advised by Dr. Mark Wright.
- Rina Carrillo, a PhD student studying Molecular Biosciences and Bioengineering. Rina is advised by Dr. David Christopher.
