CTAHR ASAO welcomed students back with our January Grab & Go.  Students were invited to shop for fresh produce and pantry items.  Over 300 pounds of food items were generously donated by the Coalition to Stop Campus Hunger (187.9 lbs.), the Urban Garden Center's Fruit Hui (105.1 lbs), GoFarm Hawaii (54 lbs), and the Student Activity & Program Fee Board.  Mahalo to everyone for their support!  Our next Grab & Go will be on Thursday, Feburary 11 from 12:30-2:30 PM.  Students, don't forget to register!

CTAHR's Academic and Student Affairs Office welcomes Kasandra Miao as our new Program Assistant.  Here's a few words from Kasandra:

The CTAHR Academic Student Affairs Office wishes ALL of our students Hauʻoli Lā Hānau (Happy Birthday)! Beginning this semester undergraduate and graduate students of the College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources will be receiving a personalized email from us, ASAO, wishing you a Happy Birthday!

The CTAHR Academic and Student Affairs Office welcomes Chrislyn DeMattos as an Educational Sepecialist.  Here's a few words from Chrislyn:

“Aloha CTAHR ‘ohana! My name is Chrislyn DeMattos! I was born and raised in Hawaii and earned my Masters of Environmental Management from our very own NREM department of CTAHR! In our office you can find me assisting with recruitment and retention events and supporting some of CTAHR’s administrative responsibilities. In my free time I love to hang out with my pup, Arwen, bake, and go for walks at the beach! Drop on by to our CTAHR ASAO to come say hi and chat, I’m looking forward to getting to know all of our wonderful students!"

November welcomed the return of a student favorite, Fall Fair!  Paired with the November Grab and Go, students were encouraged to stop by booths hosted by the CTAHR Student Ambassadors to play games and particpate in fun activitites.
