Stock up for the Holiday Season with the Year of the Kāhuli merchandise!  Proceeds from this CTAHR Alumni and Friends Fundraiser will go towards suppoting student success.  Childrenʻs sizes, dri-fit styles, and bucket & trucker hat options have been added!  The last day to order November 18th and items will be delivered by December 6th.

2024 CTAHR Awards Call for Nominations

Nominations are open for the Ka Pouhana (Faculty Mentor) award, Ka Hana Poʻokela (Undergraduate and Graduate) Student Award, and CTAHR Outstanding Alumnus Award.  Nominations can be self-nominated or made by another individual.  Please submit your nominations by December 31, 2023.  For more information, please review the CTAHR Award Nomination Form.

CTAHR Represents at the National Association for College Admissions Counseling (NACAC) College Fair!

The College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources (CTAHR) proudly participated in the National Association for College Admissions Counseling (NACAC) College Fair in Honolulu on October 24. As the largest college fair in the state, this event served as a platform for CTAHR to reach out to hundreds of high school students and offer them a glimpse into the exciting possibilities our academic programs hold.

2023 Fall Fair Fun!

Our amazing CTAHR Ambassadors helped students, staff and faculty enjoy a fun-filled Halloween day, October 31st, with our annual Fall Fair on Gilmore Lawn. Ambassadors engaged participants in a variety of fall-themed activities including a costume contest, planting activity, invasive species dodgeball (Manny was in full beast mode!), Halloween cookie decorating, an Arts & Crafts affirmation board, lawn games and Halloween Trivia.

CTAHR Shines at Discover Mānoa!

The UHM Discover Mānoa inaugural event on Saturday, October 21, 2023 was a huge success! On behalf of the CTAHR Academic and Student Affairs Office (ASAO), we thank the 120 CTAHR faculty, staff, students, and alumni who worked and volunteered to make this event possible. The UHM event attracted over 2,000 visitors, including prospective students and their ʻohana, alums, policymakers, and the general public, to learn about what CTAHR offers, including the college’s latest research discoveries, engaging activities, insect museum tour, cooking show demonstration, soil exhibit, and more!
