Celebrating Spring 2024 Graduates at CTAHR Convocation!

Congratulations to our Summer and Spring 2024 CTAHR Graduates! On May 4, 2024 we celebrated those students who earned their undergraduate and graduate degrees at the Spring 2024 CTAHR Convocation. Our program included:

• Opening remarks from Dr. Parwinder Grewal, CTAHR Dean and Director for Research and Cooperative Extension
• A welcome message from Dr. Catherine Chan, Interim Associate Dean for Academic and Student Affairs
• Speeches from our CTAHR Student Marshals, Cecili Rivera (Dietetics), Mia Horn (Food Science and Human Nutrition), and Brylin Nelson (Molecular Biology and Bioengineering)
• An introduction to the CTAHR Alumni Association
• And of course the presentation of graduates!

Following our program graduates and their guests joined us outside for pupus and dessert to celebrate. Please visit our CTAHR Flickr Page to view Convocation photos. These will be ready to view and download 1-2 weeks after the program.

A big mahalo (thank you) to our FDM Stole Society for continuing to create one of a kind CTAHR Stoles for all of our graduating CTAHR Students! All stoles have a unique fabric design on the back, so there is a perfect print for everyone! CTAHR Stoles were given to all graduating CTAHR students (Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Ph.D.)! Students were encouraged to pick their favorite design to show off at CTAHR Convocation and Commencement! 

Mark your calendars! Our Fall 2024 CTAHR Convocation will be on December 14, 2024 at the Campus Center Ballroom. Information on registration for faculty and staff and graduating students will be sent out later in the semester.
