On May 3rd, the CTAHR Alumni Association & Friends hosted a fun, yet relaxing, Student Mixer at Tillandsia In Hawaii, an alumni-owned business on the West side of Oʻahu. Students and alumni came together for a behind-the-scenes tour of the facility, learning about the cultivation and care of air plants directly from our proud CTAHR graduate and owner, Jerry Domingo. Over lunch, meaningful connections were made, and the day ended with participants tapping into their creative energy, making beautiful tillandsia wreaths using a variety of fun decorations. Mahalo to our hosts (the entire Domingo family - three of whom are CTAHR alumni) for sharing their time, space, and expertise in true CTAHR ‘ohana fashion!
