At the next COF Brown Bag seminar, Thao Le will present “The Role of Culture and Context in Mindfulness Training & Dissemination.” In this presentation, she will share her research and experiences in sharing mindfulness with health, human, and social service professionals in Hawai‘i, centering mindfulness within the ALOHA response, and her mindfulness and service learning project in Vietnam.
Thao is an associate professor in the Human Development & Family Studies program. Her current research and Extension work focuses on mindfulness for underserved and disadvantaged communities, and the role of culture and context in mindfulness.
