Don’t miss FDM’s annual spring fashion show, EN ROUTE, which will be held on April 29 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the UHM Campus Center Ballroom. EN ROUTE is the 52nd Annual Spring Fashion Show, and the latest contribution to over a hundred years of fashion at UHM! This year’s senior designers are Kaycee Yoshioka, Michelle Nino, and Jayme Pisciotto, each of whom will present an individual collection that showcases their unique designs, creative talent, and design aesthetics. This year’s theme plays a huge role in their designs as well as their individual inspirations and themes: EN ROUTE encapsulates their journey from when they were freshmen in college to who they are now. The show will also feature the annual silent auction, this year with donations from local companies including Vacations Hawaii and Reyn Spooner. And don’t forget your fashionable merchandise: EN ROUTE t-shirts and tote bags are on sale for $10 at the Fashion Show website, along with tickets for the event. General admission is $25, VIP is $50—the VIP tickets include pupu, a swag bag, and front-row seats to the show, so consider ponying up the extra kala—it’s all for a good cause, supporting the student designers! You can also purchase tickets by contacting Mark Oandasan at markco@hawaii.edu, and tickets will also be sold at the door on the day of the show…if there are any left by then! Parking will be free on campus.
