Textbooks for All

Outreach College is calling for proposals from UH Manoa faculty for Open Educational Resources (OER) textbook projects during summer and fall of 2018. The funds will support the collaborative adoption of OER to improve student success through cost-savings and broader access to learning materials. OER textbooks are digital, freely available textbooks for students at UH Manoa and beyond. They are published with an open copyright license, such as Creative Commons, which permits free reuse and sharing. The openness of these learning materials also makes it possible to customize content to better serve students and instructors. Read more details on the 2018 OER call for proposals here.
