Taste of Aloha

Taste of Aloha

Dietetics interns in the Individualized Supervised Pathways Practice (ISPP) program recently shared a little taste of Hawai‘i with a group of visiting students from Chuo University in Japan at the Hawaiian Cultural Foods Workshop. The morning included food demonstrations, followed by a tasty lunch of squid luau, chicken long rice, laulau, and lilikoi mochi. After that, the interns and students enjoyed an afternoon of sharing about culture and food. In the ISPP program, interns undergo 1,200 hours of supervised practice in various rotation sites, after which they receive a certificate of completion and are eligible to take the national Registration Examination for Dietitians.
