Fashion MAGIC

Two Fashion Design and Merchandising faculty members, Shu Hwa Lin and Ju-Young Kang, recently took 13 FDM students to Las Vegas to attend the famed couture convention MAGIC 2018. The most comprehensive fashion marketplace in the United States, MAGIC brings together the retail industry every February and August. MAGIC fuels the business of fashion, showcasing everything from the height of contemporary luxury brands to the latest trends in fast fashion. FDM students got to experience it all, including attending a dizzying number of seminars on fashion topics to inspire their own designs and marketing campaigns in CTAHR courses.
