Taste This!

The 23rd Taste of the Hawaiian Range Agricultural Festival won’t hit town till September, but now’s the time to sign up to attend in a professional capacity. Local food producers are invited to sell their products at the Taste, and agricultural-themed organizations can present educational exhibits. 

• Date: Saturday, September 7 

• Time: 10 a.m.–3 p.m. 

• Location: Old Kahilu Town Hall (Mana Christian ‘Ohana) and YMCA Minuke Ole Park, behind Parker Ranch Center.

• Deadline to apply online to participate: August 7. There’s no on-site signup. Visit the Taste’s website and click on “Participants.”

Taste of the Hawaiian Range provides a venue for sustainable agricultural education, plus encouragement and support of locally produced ag products. For the second year in a row, the state’s premiere ag event will include an educational outdoor festival geared for families before the ticketed evening Taste gala. Participants with daytime booths need to purchase tickets to attend the evening event.
