Nationwide, the frequency and scale of catastrophic wildfires are growing at alarming rates. To help forest and rangeland managers maintain ecologically resilient landscapes and fire-safe communities, research and Extension professionals have devised novel, interactive programs to engage and build capacity among landowners, agency land managers and decision-makers, environmental non-governmental organizations, and technical service professionals.
Join the third installment in a series of nine webinars of the Renewable Resources Extension Act, “Engaging Local Communities to Restore Fire-Adapted Ecosystems,” on Thursday, April 23, 7:00 a.m. Hawai‘i time (1:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Savings Time).
The project team consists of natural resource professionals from across the U.S. The webinars feature creative, innovative, and effective Extension programs and allow renewable resource Extension professionals to share, learn, and connect with their colleagues across land-grant institutions and disciplines.
