The Sustainable and Organic Agriculture Program is looking for an academic support – educational specialist to be housed in TPSS. The successful hire will assist SOAP in providing statewide management of the program, including applied research, outreach, and evaluation of sustainable & organic farming systems. They will maintain and expand on the SOAP website and statewide newsletter and assist in the design, establishment and maintenance of sustainable and organic farming systems extension trials and events at CTAHR facilities statewide. They will also coordinate field work on the production of food crops off-campus at field research stations via work with statewide Extension faculty members and research station staff; collect and statistically analyze data and assist in preparing research reports and publications; and assist in the preparation of outreach/education materials, presentations, and manuscripts.
