Inspirational Research

Don’t forget to come to the 30th Annual Student Research Symposium this Friday and Saturday, April 6 and 7! You can see the 149 unique projects, ask questions, help foster the spirit of discovery in the students, and celebrate a long tradition of intellectual inquiry and innovation! With over $33,000 in being awarded this year, the competition will be brilliant and fierce, and the stakes are high. On Friday, April 6, there will be poster presentations in the Ag Sci building on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors—the public viewing is from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m., with dinner to follow. On Saturday, April 7, there are oral presentations in the Ag Sci building in rooms 204, 219, and 220 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., as well as public viewing of the posters during the same time period, with lunch to follow. Faculty are asked to encourage your students to attend and be inspired by their peers…and of course, to show up yourselves—you may find yourself being inspired as well!
