A-Maize-ing Science Fair

Step right up, folks, for the a-MAIZE-ing Science Fair!

On December 2, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Michael Muszynski and his Genome Engineering to Sustain Crop Improvement team will be in the UHM Campus Center Courtyard to to showcase the latest research and tools to study maize (corn). 

The team from the Dept. of Molecular Biosciences and Bioengineering will have displays and interactive games, and free popcorn (while supplies last). The fair is being organized by team member Amy Hubbard. She’ll be joined by Tessie Amore, Rock Du, and graduate students, who will be there to spread the news about how cool maize is!
